Review: Purex® UltraPacks™ detergent

I recently bought these out of the blue because they looked interesting and simple.

I have to say that they were the best purchase ever.  In my house, the cabinet/shelving unit for laundry detergent is well above my heard (I'm 5'3") and I can't tell you how many times I've dropped the bottles, etc...  These worked great.  They say to throw them into the water, then add the clothes, however, with most newer washing machines, you can't do that.  The water fills up based on the amount of clothes you have in there.  Therefore, I just throw them in once I put all the clothes in.  I will add that when I wash a load of sheets, comforters, blankets, etc.. I usually throw one into the bottom of the machine and another on top of the load, once all the clothes are in there, otherwise, if I'm just washing a normal load of clothes, I throw it on top of the load.  Then once all that's done, I just close the lid and hit start.  My clothes come out smelling FABULOUS and are clean.  Plus, there's NO MESS!

Hearing Aids

Did you know that the average hearing aid costs about $3,000 or more?  And did you know that most insurances or MediCaid do NOT cover the ones that a person needs or if at all?  My previous insurance companies would only cover 80% up to $1,000.  So basically, they'd only cover $1,000 of a $3,000+ necessity!!  Worst off, did you knopw that MediCare does NOT cover hearing aids at all???

Here's another kicker, while doing research for assistance of hearing aids for myself, most assistance programs will only assist you if you're a minor under the age of 19 (or 21) depending on the program??  So what help does that to for me, a 30 year old adult, with no job and no income??  Nothing.  And for the few assistance programs out there for adults over the age of 21, you have to pay a processing fee/application fee, which depending on the company, ranged up to $800 for 2 hearing aids.  Doesn't make sense!
